I had a fantastic last-minute stay at Melina. The owner greeted me warmly and provided excellent recommendations for exploring the island. The location is great, very close to the bus stop and Fira's attractions. The grounds were lovely and well-kept, with a relaxing pool area. My room was modern with a nice balcony, air conditioning, and a fridge stocked with water. However, I did notice some cleanliness issues upon arrival. I found two dirty socks hidden behind the fridge, which was a bit off-putting. The pool area felt slightly outdated, and the breakfast variety could be improved as it lacked some options. The staff, though, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a few improvements in cleanliness and amenities would elevate the experience further.

I recently enjoyed a lovely week here, and it truly exceeded my expectations. My room was cozy and always spotless, and I particularly loved having a breakfast with homemade pastries every morning. The location was perfect, being just a short walk to the bus station, making it easy to explore the beautiful island. I found the shower in my room could use some updating, but it didn't detract from my wonderful stay.
